| The AXIS 670e is based on Axis custom RISC processor, ETRAX, an integral part of AXIS' ThinServer (TM) technology. As a 3-port, Multiprotocol Print Server for Token Ring Networks, the AXIS 670e is the enterprise print server for corporations which require efficient IBM mainframe and AS/400 SCS/3270/IPDS printing to ASCII printers. AXIS 670e offers LPR/LPD, TN5250E, and Raw TCP/IP transport of SCS as well as TN3270E transport of SCS/3270DS. SNA PU2.0/PU2.1 is also supported as well as AFP/IPDS data streams over both SNA and TCP/IP(PPR/PPD). In addition, it has all the functionallity of Axis' LAN print servers, including TCP/IP, Novell NetWare, more than 20 UNIX systems, Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000 simultaneously. Furthermore, it supports Web based management using any standard Web browser or via AXIS ThinWizard, a Java-based management tool for efficient administration and configuration of all AXIS products. JetAdmin and Web JetAdmin support allows seamless integration with HP tools. | |
